how can I watch tv without cable or satellite?
We want to cancel our cable subscription, and don’t have a clear view to be able to set up a satellite dish. We have one HD TV and one regular TV. What are our options?
There are lots of websites that offer free television, just do a few searches on google. You may have to dig a little, but they’re not hard to find. Your other options are sites like Hulu or official network sites that offer television programming a day or two after the shows first air.
My wife and I had to cut costs and our dish went, so that’s how we watch all our shows. Another option is Netflix which offers some television shows previous seasons. We’ve watched Bones, Lost, and 30 Rock there.
Either way, if you want to watch the shows on your television, there is a special cable that you can use to connect your computer to your HDTV. Any Radio Shack or Best Buy will know what you need and then you can still watch the shows on your big screen.
An indoor antenna is also a good idea. My wife and I bought one and our HD is actually clearer with the antenna than it was on the Satellite, but we were in an area where we got fantastic reception.
