What’s the best way to hook up multiple televisions to one DVD player?
I work in a doctor’s office, and he wants 16 televisions hooked up to one DVD player. How do I start with this? I’ve looked into it and learned I can buy a 16 way splitter, but what kind of amplifier should I buy? Also, if there are any HDTV 15 inches or smaller that you would recommend, please let me know. Thanks!
The easiest way to do this is with a modulator. It will convert the video and audio from the DVD player to a TV channel signal. That way, you only need to run one simple cable TV connection to each TV. I would recommend starting with a good professional modulator:

All you need to do is connect the DVD player to the modulator with a normal red/white/yellow cable and then the output of the modulator goes to the TV’s in each room. You can run one cable out of the modulator and then use signal taps at each TV.

Then all you do is tune each TV to the channel that the modulator is putting out. Make sure the TV’s you buy can tune an analog signal (NTSC tuner).

This is the way most institutions set up their TV’s – it is cheap and effective.
