satellite tv carriers
Satellite dish or digital cable?
My phone/wireless carrier is offering bundled plans that include satellite TV service; currently I have digital cable. Doing quick math, switching could save me quite a bit. But the unknown is, well, the unknown!
Any opinions on which is more reliable? Any possible problems with satellite dish reception to look out for?
Thanks for all input. Please be gentle…this bunny’s brain is older and no wiser… and, while embracing technology, sometimes finds it all too baffling. 
I had Adelphia cable and it got too pricey, I switched to DirecTV and have had it for about 7 years now.
When I had Adelphia Digital cable it would pixelate (the little squares that show up while watching it) at least once or more a day. With DirecTV I have ONLY had the signal go out 1 or twice in the past 7 years and we had a HARD rainfall when it cut out. Once the rain slowed a bit the signal came back with no problems. I WOULD NEVER SWITCH BACK TO CABLE.. I have read alot about DirecTV and dish network, Dish seems to have more issues than DirecTV but still better than cable.
