Is there such a thing as in house ( on my property ) satelight internet service.?

Can a person purchase a satilite uplink internet service at as a monthly service ? Can a person even buy such a system for personal use and if so what kind of speed would the band width be?

YES. the band width varies a lot and so can the cost. In the early days it was cost prohibit but the band width speeds could range any were from 2meg down / 15 meg up to 20 meg up / 200 meg down for the price range around $2,000.00 installation and a monthly fee of $400.00 to as much as $1,400 a month.
To day the have packages starting around less then $100 a month.
